It’s no surprise that there are a lot of products on the market today that contain toxic chemicals. In this post I’m dissing air-fresheners partly because they are especially toxic and nasty, but also because so many people use them on a daily basis to avoid unpleasant odors in their homes, workplaces and cars.
The manufacturers of these products spend tons of money to convince us that we need them, and they don’t have to tell us what is in them. They don’t have to tell us that air fresheners contain chemical poisons such as benzenes, formaldehyde and phthalates. All they have to do is list “fragrance” as an ingredient. That’s it.
